Effective Supervision in Groundworks

Objectives: 

The ½ day will help delegates to understand the responsibilities to a supervisor’s role. It will also provide the confidence to communicate clearly and effectively, understand and master the art of problem solving & decision making.

Course duration is 4 hours

Who Should Attend? 

Suitable for those who have or who are about to acquire supervisory responsibilities.

Course Content: 

This course will cover the following:

• Understanding the responsibilities of the supervisor
• How a supervisor helps with enhancing Site Safety & Efficiency
• What is effective communication & coordination, how a supervisor can achieve this
• Show effective problem solving
• Improve documentation & reporting

Outcomes: 

Upon completion, delegates will have increased knowledge and confidence in the role of a Supervisor. Delegates will have also improved their skills and confidence required to effective supervise teams. Delegates will get a certificate of attendance. Certificates awarded will be valid for 3 years.

Delegate Preparation:

There is no requirement for delegates, however, delegates should hold, or be about to hold, the role of a supervisor.
